Defensive Classic: LSU vs. Alabama

If you're a college football fan you were most likely tuned into last night's game between LSU and Alabama.  These two teams were ranked #1 and #2 in the country, respectively.  Many sports journalists were saying things such as "best college football game ever," and "national championship in November."  It would be hard to argue against the opinion by many that these two defenses are possibly the best we have ever witnessed in college football.  This game didn't let us down.  It was one of the greatest defensive battles ever witnessed in college football.  There were no touchdowns and the game was decided by a mere 3 points.  Neither of the two best teams in the country could score double digits; with the final score being 9-6 in favor of LSU.  This game will undoubtedly go down as a defensive classic.  For all those who witnessed this game we saw two titans clash on the grid-iron.  If all the pieces fall into place we may be able to see these teams meet once more in the national championship.  If we are lucky enough.

  1. That game was amazing to watch and with a tied score all the way into overtime, the two teams were battling it out tll the end. A missed 52 yard field goal by Alabama which game the ball to LSU for thier drive that ended in a made field goal and the win.

  2. You're right, the game did not let us down!! It was a really good match up, and it just proves how one small little piece of the game like a field goal can change the entire game.
